Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm and cordial invitation to all of you to the 3rd Joint Meeting of the Turkish Transplantation Society and the Turkic World Transplantation Society to be held in Tashkent on October 10-11, 2019.

As in the previous meeting of TOND and TDTD, it is with great excitement that we join the two societies in another scientific meeting composed of invited lectures as well as oral and poster presentations with topics of interest for every participant in every professional category of the multidisciplinary transplant team.

The Scientific and Local Organizing Committees, comprised of international leaders in transplantation, are committed to providing a program that reflects current problems and represents a collection of scientific, educational, and practical information presented in an environment and format that encourages interactions that are truly international.

The 3rd Joint Congress of TOND and TDTD will be an exciting opportunity for transplant professionals to share their expertise as well as their concerns regarding the development of the field in their own countries. The inter-disciplinary nature of organ transplantation will mean that physicians and practitioners from all related fields will also have the opportunity to share and learn from each other.

Dear Friends,

I cordially greet all participants of the upcoming 3rd Joint Meeting of the Turkish Transplantation Society and the Turkic World Transplantation Society, which will be held on October 10-11, 2019 in the capital of Uzbekistan - the ancient city of Tashkent.

In the conditions of progressive and global reforms that are being implemented in all spheres, it is especially important to properly construct cooperation in the field of medical development, particularly, in trans-plantation, the importance and relevance of which is beyond doubt. The upcoming conference is expected to bring together leading experts from dozens of countries to jointly present essential issues and further promotion of transplantology.

For Uzbekistan, a very young country in transplantology, this event is not only a great honor and privilege, but also a great responsibility. For the first time, one of the pearls of Central Asia - the city of Tashkent will be the venue of such a large-scale scientific forum on transplantology. This is a vivid example of the trust of our partners and recognition of the results of changes carried out in the country in all directions.

I believe that a successful Conference will not only make it possible in general to expand international contacts in the field of transplantation, but also bring Uzbek medicine to a new level of development.

Sincerely,

Abdukhakim Khadjibaev, MD, DSc, Professor
